Walter Santibanes 12-2 (2 KOs) earned a return to this main event when he won an upset win with a domineering performannce over Manny “Gucci” Flores at this venue this past June. But tonight, it was Jose “Tito” Sanchez who outperformed Santibanes in the ring, and though it went the distance, Sanchez earned the unanimous decision by wide margins of 99-91, 99-91, and 98-92 on the scores cards. Sanchez advances to 12-0 (7 KOs), Santibanes record is now 12-3 (2 KOs).

It was all Priest from the start of the match, dropping Mendez once before later getting the KO win by waive off at 2:09 of the first round. Priest advances to 12-0 (8 KOs), Mendez picks up another loss to move to 21-5-2

Making his first appearance after being signed by Golden Boy, Chavez 8-0 (6 KOs) from Tijuana, punished the Nicaraguan fighter, Jerson Ortiz 17-9 (8 KOs for the first 2 rounds, causing his corner to call the fight after the second round ended. Chavez advances to 9-0 (7 KOs), Ortiz drops to 17-10 (8 KOs)

Macias 15-3 (10 KOs) from Monterrey, Mexico, had his moments but not enough to outshine Ruvalcaba 10-0-1, and though the fight went the distance, Macias took the loss. Ruvalcaba was granted the win with score cards of 78-74, 80-72, 80-72. Ruvalcaba advances to 11-0-1 (9 KOs), Macias’ record now stands at 15-4 (1 KOs)

Guzman 2-0 (2 KOs), from Orange, CA, won by KO when the ref waived off the fight at 2:01 of the second round. Johnson 0-3, from Milwaukee, WI, had been downed once prior to the stopage. Guzman advanced to 3-0 (3 KOs), Johnson falls to 0-4.
