Pacoima, California fighter Saul Sanchez to Challenge Jason Moloney this Saturday (Jan 13) in Quebec City, Canada

 Saul "The Beast" Sanchez 20(12 KOs)-2-0 is poised to challenge Jason "Mayhem" Moloney 26(19KOs)-2(1KO)-0 for his WBO World Bantamweight Title in Quebac City, Canada this Saturday, January 13. Sanchez, from Pacoima, California, fought extensively under the former Thompson Boxing Promotions banner for most of his career. He is coming off of a unanimous decision win in Japan this past October over Filipino fighter RV Deniego .

Moloney is on a five fight winning streak since he suffered a KO loss at the hands of Naoye Inoue in October 2020.  His last fight was in May of 2023 in Stockton, California, where he won by majority decision over Vincent Astrolabio (18-3-0). This Top Rank fight will be aired on ESPN and ESPN+.
